Josh Ritter is fearless on his new album Fever Breaks
Josh Ritter dropped by the q studio for a live performance, fresh off of the release of his 10th album, Fever Breaks. For this new record, Ritter strayed from routine, left familiarity behind and joined forces with his friend and fellow singer-songwriter Jason Isbell.
He joined host Tom Power to talk about leaving his comfort zone and how fear can act as a motivator. "What else is art, in the end, but a chance to fail or succeed publicly?" Ritter quipped.
You can catch Ritter performing in Toronto tonight, the first night of his tour, at the Danforth Music Hall. Tomorrow, he heads to Montreal and then he'll swing through the U.S., and head back up to Vancouver to play the Vogue Theatre on Saturday, June 22.
