Hit-makers Organized Noize talk about the sound of Atlanta

As a pivotal force in the rise of Southern hip-hop music in the 1990s, Atlanta's Organized Noize have a well-respected place in musical history as the foundation of the Dungeon Family collective that yielded Outkast, Cee-Lo and the Goodie Mob among many other artists.

Not only did they produce Outkast's pioneering first three albums, but this production trio comprising Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown were also key figures in 1990s hip-hop and R&B — responsible for such enduring songs as En Vogue's "Don't Let Go" and TLC's worldwide smash "Waterfalls." 

As they release a new EP project, Organized Noize talk to q about the city of Atlanta and how it has shaped their music.
