For the past 35 years, Sandra Meigs has been creating visual art that immerses audiences in a striking and energetic world. In 2015, Meigs won a Governor General's Award, and the AGO's prestigious Gershon Iskowitz Prize. Meigs joins Tom Power to discuss why making art was an escape for her as a child, how her work has helped her through some of life's most difficult moments and why sound is such an integral part of her current exhibition, Room for Mystics.
