Andrea Macasaet has always wanted to perform on Broadway — she just never imagined it would happen so soon. Shortly after her 25th birthday, the Canadian performer landed a role in the critically acclaimed musical Six. Her contract only covered a few performances in Chicago and Edmonton, but then New York came knocking. She joined q's Tom Power talk about preparing for her Broadway debut as the oft-misunderstood queen, Anne Boleyn.

The musical Six is running now at Edmonton's Citadel Theatre until Sunday, Nov. 24. It'll be heading to Broadway in 2020.
