Comedian Katherine Ryan on her rising international fame

In the comedy world Katherine Ryan is a big deal. The Canadian comedian now lives in the U.K. where she sells out tours all across the country. Today she joins Tom Power to discuss her rising international fame.

You might not know the name Katherine Ryan, but in the comedy world she's a big deal. Originally from Sarnia, Ont., Ryan now lives in the U.K. where she plays to thousands in sell out tours across the country. She's gained even greater international recognition this year after being on Conan O'Brien, and releasing a Netflix special In Trouble

Ryan is now back in Canada for a visit. Tonight she hosts a special episode of This Hour Has 22 Minutes, which looks at how Canada is seen overseas. Today she joins Tom Power from Halifax, Nova Scotia to discuss her rising fame.
