Singer-songwriter Tim Baker spent more than 10 years performing with his band Hey Rosetta!, but a year and a half ago, the group announced that it would be going on an indefinite hiatus. Baker is still making the music he loves, but without his band. Just last week, he released his debut solo album, Forever Overhead.

The new album has given Baker a chance to step outside of his comfort zone and get a little more personal. He joined host Tom Power in the studio to perform some songs and talk about what it's like making music without his band.

Forever Overhead is out now. You can catch Baker touring the new album tonight, tomorrow and Thursday in Toronto and on Friday in Ottawa. He has more dates throughout Canada and the U.S. continuing until the summer.
