Canadian musical theatre star Chilina Kennedy brings The Band's Visit to the q studio

In a segment that we call the q Thursday Headliner, we invite a band or artist we think you need to hear to kick off the show with a live performance. This week, Canadian musical theatre star Chilina Kennedy drops by the q studio to perform the song Omar Sharif from the hit Broadway musical The Band's Visit.

Kennedy is best known for her historic run as Carole King in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. Now she has the lead role in the first touring production of The Band's Visit, which just opened last night in Toronto. You can catch The Band's Visit at the Ed Mirvish Theatre until Sunday, Oct. 20.
