Nina Dobrev is known for playing sweet characters in teen dramas such as Degrassi: The Next Generation and The Vampire Diaries. Now, as an adult, she's ready to enter a new era of her career. She joined q's Tom Power from New York to talk about her role as Chloe in the new film Lucky Day — a dark, quirky and campy action flick — and how it's given her the chance to explore new elements of her physical and emotional self.

Lucky Day is available in theatres and on demand on Friday, Oct. 11.
