Michael Palin finds a new audience for Monty Python in North Korea
Michael Palin is perhaps best recognized from Monty Python, the British comedy troupe, but he's also spent a lot of time travelling the world, making TV shows and publishing books about the places he's visited. His latest trip brought him to North Korea, and after airing a TV show about it, he's just released an accompanying book called North Korea Journal
Palin joined q's Tom Power on the line from London to talk about his travels to North Korea, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Monty Python this year, and how his worlds collided when he played a Monty Python sketch for his North Korean guide.
Palin's new book North Korea Journal is out now.
