TJ Miller made headlines earlier this year when he left the hit HBO series, Silicon Valley. He played a bathrobe-wearing, bong-hitting, software developer on the show. He's also appeared in movies like Deadpool and voiced characters in The Emoji Movie and Big Hero 6. Miller is set to appear in the upcoming Steven Spielberg project, Ready Player One, but right now he's focused on standup comedy.

Miller is about to bring his act to 12 Canadian cities on the Just For Laughs Alternative Comedy Tour. It all kicks off tomorrow night in Ottawa. He'll be in Toronto on Saturday with special guest Jon Dore on the bill for that night only. For full tour dates, head over to Just For Laughs' website.

Today, Miller drops by q ahead of his tour to discuss comedy, Canada and his upcoming projects.
