There are only four more sleeps until Canada Reads, CBC's annual battle of the books!

Over the past few weeks, all of the panellists have dropped by q to talk about why the book they're championing is the one that everyone in Canada should read. Revisit all of them below:

Candy Palmater on Katherena Vermette's The Break
Humble the Poet on André Alexis's Fifteen Dogs
Jody Mitic on M.G. Vassanji's Nostalgia
Chantal Kreviazuk on Sheila Watt-Cloutier's The Right to Be Cold
Measha Brueggergosman on Madeline Ashby's Company Town

The person responsible for keeping all these big personalities in check during the debates is host Ali Hassan. Today, he spoke to Tom Power about his hosting duties and how he plans to "inject some civility."

As a comedian, Hassan says humour may be his way to maintain control over conversations but, as he warns, he's also not afraid to take out an air horn or a megaphone. So beware, panellists!
