Prom Queen: The Musical tells the true story of Marc Hall, a teen in Oshawa who successfully fought the Durham Region Catholic School Board in 2002 for the right to bring his boyfriend to the prom. When London Ont.'s Thames Valley District School Board decided to pull funding for the production, there was a public outcry protesting the decision.

CBC's Kate Dubinski, who reported the story, joins Tom Power live from London Ont., to talk about the controversy.
