It's been quite the year for actor Stephan James.

At only 25 years old, the Scarborough, Ont., native has already received his first Golden Globe nomination for his role opposite Julia Roberts on the Amazon Prime show Homecoming. He's also just wrapped the action movie 17 Bridges and he's the lead in Barry Jenkins's highly-anticipated new film If Beale Street Could Talk, which is getting a lot of Oscar buzz.

James joined host Tom Power live in the q studio to talk about these roles and how he's dealing with all of the attention. If Beale Street Could Talk is in limited release on Christmas Day and hits theatres everywhere on Friday, Jan. 4.
