Somali-Canadian singer Cold Specks is set to release Fool's Paradise, the follow up to her acclaimed second album Neuroplasticity.

It's being called her most personal and revealing album to date. The singer-songwriter stops by q to perform songs from the new album, and talks to Ali Hassan about weaving stories about her mother and Somali identity into the fabric of her new songs.
