Meet BBC Music's Sound Of 2018 winner: Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid

The 21-year-old singer-songwriter discusses what it's like trying to live up to the hype, and how her life has changed now that the spotlight is shining on her.

Remember the name Sigrid, because you might soon be saying it in the same breath as Adele and Sam Smith. Every December, the BBC develops a longlist of people who represent the next wave of musical talent, and by January, identify the one musician who they think is going to be the next big thing. It's called "Sound Of..." and this year, 21-year-old Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid was named the Sound Of 2018 winner. She stopped by the q studio to talk about how her life has changed now that the spotlight is shining on her, and what it's like trying to live up to the hype. Her new EP Raw is out later this year.
