Cheap Trick look back on 40 years: "We've grown old but not up"

On the heels of their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cheap Trick looks back on 40 years, 20 million record sales, and over 5,000 shows.

After more than 40 years, rock 'n' rollers Cheap Trick are still going strong — releasing new music and putting on shows for their loyal, family-like fans. The freshly-minted Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have influenced the sounds of countless artists, from Kurt Cobain to the Ramones.

In a distinctly raucous interview, founding members  Rick Nielsen and Tom Petersson join Shad to look back on their work, their near death experience, and why they still want you to want them.

They also comment on their Hall of Fame status, a recognition they're honoured to receive, "It was really a great feeling ... it validates what you've done," the two tell Shad.

The band's latest album is Bang…Zoom…Crazy…Hello.
