If you've always dreamed of having a robot secretary to take dictation for you, the future is now.

If you use Google Docs, you can now format and edit your entire document using only your voice.

It's called Voice Typing, and some are heralding the technology. Others are lamenting what it may do to our writing skills. q's tech correspondent Clive Thompson tells us all about it.
