Remembering Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami

Celebrated Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami, best know for his Palme d'Or winning film Taste Of Cherry, died yesterday in Paris at the age of 76. 

Norm Wilner says the news left fans of international cinema reeling. The film critic fondly remembers Kiarostami as one of the greatest humanist filmmakers this world has ever seen, highlighting his knack for taking very simple stories and making them universal. 

Today he joins guest host Piya Chattopadhyay to discuss Kiarostami's complex, thoughtful and challenging work.
