Mads Nissen on winning the World Press Photo of the Year Award

Danish photographer Mads Nissen beat out almost 100,000 entries to win the World Press Photo of the Year Award.

Danish photographer Mads Nissen beat out almost 100,000 entries to win the World Press Photo of the Year Award. Today he joins guest host Rachel Gieseto talk about his winning image -- a strikingly intimate picture of an embrace by a gay couple living in St. Petersburg, Russia. 

Some observers say his win signals a shift in photojournalism from hard news to more private, human moments.
