Rapper Le1f on riot grrl and tapping injustice to create art

New York rapper and producer Le1f — a.k.a Khalif Diouf — is back with Riot Boi, a new album that blends rap and the "queer punk principles" of the riot grrrl movement. Le1f takes on thorny subjects like racism, sexism, and transphobia with sharp lyrics and catchy hooks. 

Today he  joins Shad to discuss his sensitivity to injustice and how he battles burnout when tapping it for art.
