Since his first film Kicking and Screaming, director Noah Baumbach has returned, again and again, to the always uncomfortable subject of aging. His latest film, While We're Young, follows two greying Gen Xers (Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts) as they develop a complex relationship with a 25-year-old couple (Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried).

At first the older couple envy their millennial friends and what seems like a more jovial and spontaneous way of life — but then things get a little more complicated.

"We're all dealing with the gap between who we are and who we think we are," Baumbach tells guest host Talia Schlanger.
