Iggy Pop and Josh Homme join forces for Post Pop Depression
Iggy Pop and Josh Homme are singular forces on their own, but their careers have been propelled by collaboration.
Pop has worked with the likes of David Bowie and Lou Reed. Homme has lent his talents to Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal.
Now the two have joined forces for Post Pop Depression, a record they quietly made in the middle of the California desert. In an interview recorded while the album was still a secret, Pop and Homme join Shad to explain their stealthy strategy.
They also comment on two international stories that rocked them personally: the death of Pop's longtime friend David Bowie and the terrorist attack that rocked Homme's band Eagles of Death Metal.
