Best of Q: Aisha Tyler on the benefits of being the weird kid

Multi-talented Aisha Tyler shares surprising views on failure and staying weird.
In a refreshing and highly entertaining interview from the  Best of Q, Jian chats with Aisha Tyler, co-host of CBS' The Talk and the ringmaster of the rebooted improv show, Whose Line Is It Anyway. The witty, one-woman powerhouse also voices super-spy Lana Kane on Archer, dominates the competition as a celebrity Jeopardy champ, and spearheads the hit podcast Girl on Guy.

And, as if all that isn't enough, the author, activist, gamer and budding filmmaker stopped by Studio Q in October while working the stand up comedy circuit in Toronto.

Tyler shoots holes in stereotypes about black female comedians, explains why growing up as a "weird kid" was a good thing, and shares a surprising perspective on failure.

"When you bomb, you walk away and you re-consider every choice you've made to that point. You write and you re-write and you get better," she tells Jian. "It's only the failures that make you strong."
