  • Last Friday marked the start of the Coachella Music Festival. So far some of the big surprises from the fest include Kesha's first major concert appearance since her lawsuit and the reunion of N.W.A. — save for Dr. Dre.
  • But the biggest Coachella surprise happened when AC/DC guitarist Angus Young joined Guns N' Roses on stage to perform a couple AC/DC covers to announce Axl Rose's new appointment as their singer.
  • As for the new season of Game of Thrones, super fan President Obama is ready. Last week it was reported that he asked the creators for advanced screeners of this season's episodes, which they sent right over. So a journalist named Vanessa Golembewski did what journalists do — she filed a Freedom of Information Act request to gain access to the screeners.
  • Other Game of Thrones fans are taking the new season just as seriously. A creative tech company in the U.K. have a half-day planned so they can stay up and watch the premiere. In fact, they even wrote this allowance into their employee guidebook.
