Brian Williams is back on the airwaves. The disgraced NBC anchorman made his first on-air appearance this week after a six-month suspension for embellishing and fabricating stories during his coverage of the Iraq war in 2003.

On the heels of his return, Shad checks in with Walrus editor and National Post columnist Jonathan Kay to discuss the public's willingness to forgive and forget, and how social media has democratized redemption.

"We are now crowdsourcing the question of whether Brian Williams will get a second chance," says Kay.
