• Friday Live: live performance + chat throughout the show from Montreal's The Barr Brothers who will be playing songs from their recently released sophomore album, Sleeping Operator.
   
• Jack Amiel, co-creator and showrunner of The Knick -- a new show centered in a New York City hospital in 1900. The show stars Clive Owen as a doctor who mainly treats lower class patients in a medical era best described as bloody and grotesque, but slowly lurching its way toward progress.


• Q's media panel, with rabble.ca's Judy Rebick, John Cruickshank, publisher of The Toronto Star, and Jonathan Kay of the National Post.
   
• From the Best of Q: Robert Downey Jr. joins Jian to reflects on some of the big questions posed in his new film The Judge, including issues of family, community harmony and the value and purpose of the law.
