Best of Q: Tatiana Maslany on breaking out with Orphan Black
There's no doubt that 2013 was a great year for Tatiana Maslany. The Regina-born actress not only scored a breakout role in the sci-fi series Orphan Black, but also a coveted Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a TV drama category for her work on the show.
The Canadian rising star will be competing with longtime favourite Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black), Kerry Washington (Scandal) and Robin Wright (House of Cards).
From the Best of Q, we revisit Jian's conversation with Maslany about her role(s) in the clone thriller. In it, she plays a street-smart British orphan who realizes she has numerous identical versions of herself -- subjects of a top-secret, illegal medical experiment.
