Ever since Wab Kinew stepped down as host of Canada Reads to run in a provincial by-election in Manitoba, the people of Canada have been waiting and wondering: who will wield the mighty bell at this year's battle of the books?
Well, we are pleased to tell you the wait is over. The new host of Canada Reads is seasoned broadcaster and frequent q guest host Gill Deacon!
Gill is the host of CBC's Here and Now and the best-selling author of three books, There's Lead in Your Lipstick, Naked Imperfection and Green for Life.
