What does a Reality TV maven have to say about biblical stories and moral lessons? Just in time for Easter, Mark Burnett proves: plenty.

Mark Burnett is the undeniable king of Reality TV. He's produced some of the most successful series ever, including Survivor, The Voice, The Apprentice, and Shark Tank. But Burnett is also a man of faith, and a producer of epic biblical TV series like 2013's The Bible — a record breaking mini-series watched by nearly 100 million viewers.

Now, to mark Easter and Passover, he's got two more. The Dovekeepers, which debuted this week, is based on the best-selling novel by Alice Hoffman and set amid the Roman siege of Masada. And then there's A-D The Bible Continues: a sequel to The Bible.

Today he joins guest host Piya Chattopadhyay to discuss the faith-driven side of his creative work, and why he thinks moral lessons are woven into his secular fare as well.
