Grammy-winning producer Narada Michael Walden has worked with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. He joined q's Tom Power to tell us what it's like to step into the studio with a music icon, and revealed the one special thing Franklin, Houston and Carey all had in common that made them masters of their craft.

Walden's latest album is called Evolution and it's available on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
