It takes a lot to be an astronaut. You need to be good at math and science, there are tough physical tests to pass, not to mention you've got to be okay with being alone a lot of the time. But, until a few years ago, you wouldn't have thought that singing in space could be a prerequisite.

When Canadian Chris Hadfield was up on the International Space Station, he wrote and recorded a lot of music because if being a decorated astronaut wasn't enough, Hadfield was also a folk musician.

This September, he's taking his love of space, music and Canada on tour. He calls it his Canada 150 tour. And before he embarks on that, he will stop by the q studios to talk to host Tom Power about space, music and more.
