Carole Bayer Sager has had the kind of career many songwriters can only dream of. She's been writing songs for more than five decades, penning hits like A Groovy Kind Of Love, Midnight Blue and That's What Friends Are For.
On June 13, she'll receive one of the highest honours any songwriter can get — the Johnny Mercer Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Ahead of that, Sager joined q's Tom Power to take a look back on her long career in music and share a few stories about the making of her biggest hits.
