Back in 2011, a movie called Goon came out.

It tells the story of a character called Doug Glatt (played by Seann William Scott), a likeable but sort of dim-witted bouncer who joins his local hockey team, becomes an enforcer and leads them to glory.

The movie, one that actor Jay Baruchel affectionately deems a "hoser puck opera," generated a lot of buzz and debate over the role of fighting in hockey, and over the depiction of enforcers in film. "We romanticize it, but we don't glorify it at all," Baruchel argues, about the onscreen violence.

Now, Goon is back with a sequel called Goon: The Last of the Enforcers (out March 17). Today, first-time director Baruchel, and stars Marc-André Grondin and Elisha Cuthbert join host Tom Power in studio to talk hockey, film, and mixing it up on the ice.
