Don Ferguson and Luba Goy share their favourite moments from five decades of Royal Canadian Air Farce
For almost five decades, one of the most enduring staples of Canadian comedy has been lighting up homes all across this country.
Royal Canadian Air Farce started on the radio in the early '70s, and for a while starting in the '80s, it was also on TV. In 1992, CBC started a tradition of showing Air Farce every Dec. 31, which continued even after the weekly radio and TV shows were off the air.
The Air Farce gang became a crucial part of Canadian New Year's festivities, but now the tradition is ending. CBC announced that this year's Air Farce special will be the last, and it will air one day early on Dec. 30.
Two of the founding members of Air Farce, Don Ferguson and Luba Goy, joined q guest host Ali Hassan live in studio to talk about preparing for their final farewell show.
