Denzel Curry looks back on the Florida artists and music that inspired his sound

Denzel Curry is a rapper from a neighbourhood of Miami called Carol City. For many of us, the thought of southern Florida may conjure sounds of the beach and crashing waves, but for Curry, it's the sound of loud bass, sharp lyrics and rappers like Trick Daddy and Rick Ross. These are the artists that Curry grew up with and they've really helped shape his own sound as a rapper. He joined us to take us on a guided tour of his neighbourhood, using music as his co-guide.
