This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, just wrapped up in Los Angeles, California. The E3 Expo is a massive trade show where all the biggest video game companies, such as Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo, unveil their new games and future plans.

This year e-sports took centre stage with one of the biggest North American outdoor live video game tournaments ever, for the popular survival game Fortnite. To help us break this all down, q's Tom Power talks to Julia Alexander, a senior internet culture reporter for the video game outlet Polygon.
