Bahamas and Robbie Lackritz peel back the curtain on their Grammy-nominated album Earthtones
To Bahamas, Robbie Lackritz is more than an audio engineer, he's his producer, collaborator, manager and last but not least, his friend. They discuss their working relationship and what it feels like to have their work result in a Grammy nomination.
Robbie Lackritz isn't a household name, but this year he's nominated for a Grammy for his engineering work on Bahamas' latest record Earthtones.
To Afie Jurvanen, a.k.a. Bahamas, Lackritz is more than an audio engineer, he's his producer, collaborator, manager and last but not least, his friend.
"Robbie has certainly challenged me, and offended me and pushed me in all manner of directions, and the vast majority of them very positive," said Bahamas.
Lackritz joined Bahamas to discuss their working relationship, what went into making Earthtones and what it feels like to have their work result in a Grammy nomination.
