Our annual Halloween Spooktackular is full of podcasts that will keep you up at night
When some hand out candy, we hand out ear-candy.
Face it, there's only so many times you can play "Monster Mash." You need some spooky podcasts to set the mood for your Halloween. Every year our Halloween Spooktacular rises up from the grave to offer you the best and scariest podcasts for the season. There's true stories, fiction, and some things in between. And if you're a bit of a self-proclaimed scaredy cat, we've got some supernatural stories that are more sweet than scary to give you a bit of relief.
But not too much! Grab some garlic cloves, make sure you know where the exits are, light a single candle and press play...if you dare.
Podcasts featured this week:
Radio Rental: "She was putting makeup on at her vanity set when…"
Spooked: "When Flora heads to China to spend time with family for the summer, she realizes her young cousin is acting weird. Almost like he's someone… or something else entirely."
Parkdale Haunt: "Ever since Judith's lifelong best friend, Claire Sterback, inherited a house from a biological family she never knew, things have begun to change. Claire has begun to change."
Unspookable: "There are many tales of monsters throughout history - stories that come and go. But, in the Scottish Highlands, there is a legend of a creature whose first recorded sighting in the sixth century A.D. has only grown larger and gained more interest as the years go by. When we asked our listeners what stories we should tell this season, the single most requested tale was that of... the Loch Ness Monster. Prepare to hear about the origins, hoaxes, and possible explanations for everyone's favorite cryptid on this episode of Unspookable."
Family Ghosts: "[Host] Sam [Dingman] receives an unexpected message from the past, delivered by a Spiritualist medium in a mysterious town called Lily Dale."
