New and notable: March edition
Here's what the first few months of the year have to offer.
Nothing in the world happens in a vacuum. All of the alarming headlines we see -- about Venezuela, Brexit, and so on -- are the culmination of all the events that came before them. But sometimes those historical events are hard to keep in perspective. That's what's so great about Throughline -- hosts Ramtin Arablouei and Rund Abdelfatah are our guides to the historical events that continue to shape the world today. Their story about the 1953 coup in Iran is a case in point: a complicated event that not many of us remember, but whose consequences continue to play out today, and all explained in a tight and compelling 22 minutes. That's why it's my pick of the week.
