They are grateful to be out of war and limbo and grateful to find safety in Canada.

But now that a year has passed, their sponsorship funding is starting to end. New concerns about finding work and learning English are more real than ever.
On top of the struggles they face here in Canada, there is also the continuous anxiety of knowing family and friends are still stuck in Syria or refugee camps waiting to find new homes.
