Learn the running man from hip-hop pro GeNie Baffoe
Did you know that Grandmaster Flash invented the cross fade – that's the ability to smoothly transition from one record to another while deejaying without stopping or starting the record? Eugene "GeNie" Baffoe does, and that's part of the knowledge he passes on in his hip-hop dance classes.
Baffoe is 27, and he's been a hip-hop dancer, or B-boy, for 12 years. It all started when he saw his sister perform at a recital. She looked happier than she had ever been, and Baffoe wanted that for himself. He pestered her to teach him the moonwalk, and he was hooked.
Today he's teaching people of all ages, abilities, and skin colours about hip-hop culture, and hip-hop dance, including the running man.
