Melody and Lylee Horn are sisters who have each other's backs — both on and off the soccer field.

Earlier this summer, the duo competed together at the North American Indigenous Games in Toronto. But the bond between 19-year-old Melody and 17-year-old Lylee has only become stronger as they've grown.

From confronting racism and growing up off-reserve to helping raise Melody's new daughter, the pair have been through a lot together.

As they prepared to compete together at NAIG, Melody and Lylee were the subject of a short documentary by CBC Radio, which you can hear by clicking the 'listen' button above.

"I always try to be there for you and I always will," Lylee said to her sister.

Said Melody, "I'll always be there for you."
