Michael Enright, host of The Sunday Edition, talks with Bill T. Jones and Timothy Parrish about two of the past century's greatest African-American writers, James Baldwin and Ralph Ellison. Their writing is as resonant now as when it inspired civil rights activists five decades ago.   

Bill T. Jones is a renowned dancer and choreographer and executive artistic director of New York Live Arts, which staged the James Baldwin, This Time! festival last year.

Timothy Parrish is professor of English at Florida State University and the author of Ralph Ellison and the Genius of America.
