When writer Allen Kurzweil was ten years old, he went to a boarding school in Switzerland. But what was supposed to be great school year was ruined by a twelve-year-old boy who bullied him mercilessly. Torments included whipping Allen to the song '39 Lashes' from the Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack, and throwing away a beloved watch from Allen's deceased father.

Allen never forgot that boy and when he started searching for him years later, he couldn't believe what he found. His bully grew up to be an international swindler on an epic scale. He has documented his search and the resulting reunion with his childhood nemesis in his memoir called Whipping Boy: The Forty-Year Search for My Twelve-Year-Old Bully, recently published by HarperCollins.
