Mahmoud Ali Hamad is a Syrian-born BBC producer who was recently sent to a refugee camp in Jordan on assignment. He was there to cover the story of why prices were so high at a shop that was sanctioned to sell goods to refugees at the camp. But while working on the assignment, Mahmoud ended up confronting another, more personal side to the story. He discovered an old school friend and neighbour living in the camp. Mahmoud speaks with Brent about those encounters and how they affected him as a journalist.
