Is Donald Trump a political hopeful or a satire artist?
On Tuesday, Donald Trump announced for the sixth time that he was running for the Republican presidential bid. And although he's hired well-respected campaign managers and advisers in several key states, many remain skeptical of his intentions. Still, he's galvanized some enthusiastic supporters. A RealClearPolitics poll gives Trump 3.6% support, which puts him above prominent Republicans like Rick Perry and Rick Santorum. Robert Kiger, founder of the pro-Trump super PAC "Citizens for Restoring USA," believes Trump can bring much-needed change to the White House. But Elspeth Reeve, a senior editor at The New Republic, says he's anything but a gamechanger. In fact, she believes Trump is actually a brilliant political satirist — whether he knows it or not. You can read Elspeth Reeve's piece about Trump's satirical talents on The New Republic's website.
