Quanto's death has sparked calls for a special federal law that would increase penalties for injuring or killing a police animal. Acting Staff-Sergeant Troy Carriere of the Edmonton Police Canine Unit joins Brent to explain the proposal. But not everyone supports giving police dogs an elevated status under the law.
