Even after days of election counting south of the border, for now — many aspects of day-to-day reality remain the same in both the United States and Canada even after Joe Biden was declared the winner of the U.S. presidential election.

Economies still need to heal, and millions of jobs have been lost over the past few months with talk in both countries of how more environmentally friendly "green" initiatives can play a role.
