In May 2021 the world learned Amazon, the online retail giant, was taking another big step into the world of movies and television by acquiring Hollywood's MGM Studios.

While fans of Amazon Prime may delight in the thought of streaming James Bond films, Legally Blonde and Shark Tank at home, Cost of Living host Paul Haavardsrud wonders: will Amazon settle for anything less than world domination?
