Vaccine developers Pfizer and Moderna have cleared clinical trials, reporting that their COVID-19 shots are over 94 per cent effective. Health Canada says its expedited vaccine review could be completed as early as January 2021.

It's no longer if, but when and how a vaccine will become available — and that has some asking why they should take it. A recent Leger poll says that 69 per cent of Canadians plan to get inoculated.
